Your 2015 New Year’s Book List

Maybe it’s a bestseller you’ve been meaning to read, or a how-to or self-help book you heard about recently, or maybe you have a tattered copy of an old favorite at the top of your list of books to read in 2015. In this month’s Readers Write, we asked: What are the top five books on your list of books to read in the new year?

Maureen shares her list: Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty, The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell, If I Fall I Die by Micheal Christie, See You Tomorrow by Tore Renberg, and Picnic In Provence by Elizabeth Bard.

Lailan writes that she’s going to catch up on last year’s UK bestsellers The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, Awful Auntie by David Walliams, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, Inferno by Dan Brown, and Life After Life by Kate Atkinson.

Jill writes she’s looking forward to reading There’s Something I’ve Been Dying to Tell You by Lynda Bellinham, Divergent by Veronica Roth, And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini, The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown, and The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion.

Hunter plans to check these books off his list: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld, Boneshaker by Cherie Priest, I Am the Messenger by Marcus Zusak, and The Things a Brother Knows by Dana Reinhardt.
